Modern Indian restaurant, Asha’s, is working with some of London and Manchester’s finest mixologists to create an innovative cocktail and drinks menu for Manchester’s newest cocktail bar, Bollibar.
The Asha’s Group has confirmed the opening of its first Asha’s restaurant in Manchester in September, when new cocktail bar Bollibar will also be launched on to Manchester’s drinking scene.
The venue in the elegant Victorian building at 47 Peter St, Manchester, facing the Theatre Royale, comprises 6000 sq. ft over two floors. The lower ground floor will host the cocktail bar for 70 and a private dining space while the upper ground floor is the 100-cover restaurant.
The Asha’s menus will offer a delicious array of Modern Indian Cuisine paired with an exciting cocktail menu and carefully selected wine list.
The multi-award-winning Indian singer Asha Bhosle is the inspiration behind the restaurant group, with many of the dishes originating from her own recipes. Asha will attend the opening to meet fans and road test the menu.
Bollibar’s exciting new cocktail menu and carefully selected wine list are both key elements which make sure Asha’s is a perfect home for drinkers and diners alike.
With a particular focus on cocktails, Asha’s management team is working with Manchester’s own multi-award winning bartender Jamie Jones. After recently being crowned Gin Connoisseur, the World’s Best Gin Bartender by the Global Gin Connoisseur Programme, Jamie has turned his attention to Asha’s and Bollibar and has created a new menu of eye-catching cocktails.
Highly acclaimed bar and cocktail consultant Marian Beke leads the team at one of London’s most iconic bars, the award winning and world renowned Nightjar in Shoreditch which is counted in the top three cocktail bars in the world. Marian is now bringing his expertise to the North to help introduce Manchester to Bollibar.
